A core capability of the STEM Wizard application is allowing administrative users the ability to customize the application to require and collect the specific information they need to conduct their activities. While STEM Wizard does allow for a high degree of customization, user account registration do contain required fields that users cannot modify. This includes first name, last name, email address, phone number, username, and password. Some required fields are specific to user type – for instance, student, teacher, and volunteer. This includes gender, grade, division, communication preference, address, city, state, zip code, and school name.

3. How we collect your data
3.1 We may use a number of different tools and techniques to collect your data. This includes cookies used by our website and applications (First Party Cookies) as well as those used by our partners / services providers (Third Party Cookies).
3.2 When you visit our website or use our application, we use cookies to collect information about your use of the site and application, to enhance functionality of the website / application and to personalize the information you see.

4.1 Access to data through the STEM Wizard application varies by user type. For instance, Fair Administrator users have access to most data across all users associated with the events they manage, and Teacher users have access to data for Students associated with them. By default, student personally identifiable information such as student name, email address or phone number are not accessible to Judge or Volunteer users unless made available through Fair Administrator users.
In addition, our employees may have access to your data for testing & improving our application, to help you use the application, for performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps, at your request or to enter into such a contract.

4.2 Financial transactions relating to our website and services are handled by our payment services providers. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
4.3 We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
